Jealousy rears its head when Mowgli finds a mirror that has been dropped by a human. Tabaqui is terrified by what he sees in the mirror and thinks there are maybe three, four or more Mowgli’s, but Shere Kahn isn’t concerned at all. If there’s more than one man- cub then there’s more for him to eat! Masha steals the mirror, but when Mowgli, Baloo and Bagheera get it back they walk straight into Shere Kahn’s path. Our heroes trick Kahn and Tabaqui with the mirror, after which Baloo persuades Mowgli to return it to the humans. It’s caused too much trouble in the jungle.
