Gunfred, the rich lord of a neighboring county, offers King Richard a magnificent parrot. Seeing a chance to put his brother in an awkward spot, Prince John orders Ralf and Rolf to steal the bird. When the King discovers that it is gone, he panics: he had promised to introduce it to the court during the banquet that evening!
